Knife:
The 2026 US Tanto is, by far, our most fierce EDC & field knife. With a focus on connecting an EDC design to a tactical feel, the US Tanto is one of our top sellers. The US Tanto features a unique finger groove between the blade and handle to keep your fingers locked onto the handle to strengthen your grip. This is one of the longest running blade styles with Shed Knives and 8 versions have been released since 2019, making the 2026 US Tanto the most recent & updated version yet.
Handle:
The G-10 scales (handle) can be replaced/removed with a 3/32" allen head wrench. The three pairs of handle screws are coated in a matte black oxide finish to match with the black Kydex sheath and Midnight Black G-10 incorporated with each 2026 Model.
Sheath:
All 2026 models come with a CNC milled black Kydex sheath. The Kydex sheath allows the knife to click into place and stay there without the worry of your knife cutting through the sheath (which happens with leather and Nylon) or fall out. Kydex also stays extremely stable across the majority of environments you may face, unlike leather sheaths.
Additional Features:
The 2026 Shed Knives Collection features a few similarities across the entire collection. The 1/8" jimping on the spine of the knife is designed to help you maintain a firm grip on the knife for better control. The sharpening choil also helps you with sharpening as it allows for a distinct separation between the blade and handle, which aids in complete sharpening to the heel of the blade. The lanyard hole design can be used to attach the knife to rope, line, D-rings, gear, and more. The soft corners of the lanyard hole allow rope to lock in while the triangular design limits sharp angles that could cut rope.
